Nirav is a Senior Associate on the Frazier Life Sciences team focused on identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities and creating new ventures.
Nirav joined Frazier Life Sciences in 2026, where he focuses on the firm’s private investment and company creation strategies.
Prior to joining Frazier, Nirav was an attending physician and Assistant Professor of Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Previously, he was a fellow at Vida Ventures and an early investor at Emerson Collective Health (now known as Yosemite), where he helped build the firm’s venture capital strategy in Oncology. He began his career in management consulting at Bain & Company in San Francisco.
Nirav earned his M.D. from Columbia University and his B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, graduating magna cum laude in Economics with a concentration in Finance. He completed his post-graduate residency training in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center / NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
